March 28 to 31 – Taste Washington: The largest single-region food and wine festival in the US returns to Seattle and will include over 235 Washington wineries. Tastings, seminars, and plenty of food options highlight this celebration of the state’s wine industry. Tickets available through tastewashington.org

June 13 to 15 – Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance World of Cabernet Sauvignon: This 7th annual event includes tastings, panel discussions, and winemaker dinners at wineries throughout the Walla Walla Valley. More information at www.wallawallawine.com

August 10 – Bellingham Northwest Wine Festival: Taste wines from Northwest Washington’s only judged wine competition. The 4th annual public tasting event at the Four Points by Sheraton Grand Ballroom in Bellingham will feature over 50 Pacific Northwest wineries, passed appetizers, and food samples from eight local restaurants. September 9 – 9th Annual Bellhaven Jazz Festival: Held at Samson Estates Winery in Everson, this day-long event includes a beer and wine garden that opens at noon and music from 1 to 7 pm. A series of summer concerts will also be held at the winery the second Sunday of June, July and August at 4 pm.
