SEATTLE (December 15, 2022) –Taste Washington is making its big return to Seattle in March 2023, and today tickets are officially on sale for the iconic Grand Tasting and Seminar Series.
After a 3-year hiatus, the nation’s largest single-region wine and food festival will celebrate its 23rd year in 2023. Taste Washington is anchored by the Grand Tasting at Lumen Field where on Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12 over 250 Washington wineries will gather to pour alongside some of the state’s best restaurants.
Also featured Saturday and Sunday is the Taste Washington Seminar Series at Four Seasons Seattle. Join the conversation with top winemakers, growers, Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, and national wine personalities through panel discussion, blind tastings, and thoughtful tasting lineups. Voices including Elaine Chukan Brown and Maryam Ahmed will share sight insight and host discussion, MW Bob Betz and writer Sean Sullivan will reflect on how Washington has evolved, Paul Zitarelli will explore Washington Sparkling, and Compass Wines’ Doug Charles is set to lead the infamous ‘Washington vs. the World’ conversation.
“Planning for Taste Washington 2023 began over a year ago, and ticket sales mark our first major milestone,” said Chris Stone, VP of Marketing and Communications for the Washington State Wine Commission. “We’ve been ready to welcome the Washington wine family back together for this event and we’re so excited it’s finally here.”
Tickets for the Grand Tasting include Saturday attendance, Sunday attendance, or a two-day pass to attend both days. Single day passes range from $109-$129 for general admission, $199-$225 for VIP and two-day passes are $185-$299. Seminars are held at Four Seasons Seattle from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. both days, and range from $75-$95. The full seminar line up, list of wineries, and ticket sale information can be found on the Taste Washington website.
This year’s festival will host additional wine-centric events throughout the week of March 6 at various venues across Seattle, including The New Vintage and Sunday Brunch. New this year is Pacific Standard, a nautically inclined evening on the Piers, and a highly anticipated Dinner Series, bringing wine lovers and winemakers together to enjoy a meal prepared by premier chefs. No Frills and Field to Table also join the line-up of Taste Washington events. Ticket sales for all other events will go live on January 11.
